A Horror Movie You Should Look Forward To

If you, like me, are into the horror genre, there are probably a soon to arrive movie you don`t wanna miss. The movie I`m talking about is Us, and Us is the horror movie, I`m looking the most forward to in 2019 for the time being.

We are our own worst enemy, ”says the tagline in the first Us trailer.

Us is the second film from Jordan Peele, who first became known for his sublime sketch humor from the show Key & Peele.

But then he started instructing feature films, and his 2017 debut “Get Out” won an Oscar and was hailed as one of the most original thrillers of the new millennium.

Now he’s back with another thriller/horror movie which is soon ready to fuck with our heads.

Evil doubles

The new Us trailer begins in a happy mindset when a mother, father and two children goes on a holiday.

But the happiness only lasts until they meet another family dressed in red. A family that behind the red clothes resembles themselves.

As Oscar-winning Lupita Nyong’o (known from 12 Years a Slave and Black Panther), in the role of family mother says:

“They look like us, they think like us, they know where we are, we have to escape and keep on fleeing. They don’t stop until they kill “Us”, … or we kill them. “

It`s a psychological thriller with evil double-minded and inner demons – but according to rumors also with plenty of blood.

Us is scheduled to premiere in March 2019 in most countries, and I’m pretty sure it will be one of this year’s great movie experiences if you like the genre.

Exceptional reviews

Us has so far received a score of 100 percent on the big movie review site Rotten Tomatoes. This means that all of the 58 film critics who have reported the movie think it is good.

It`s extremely rare that movies get the absolute top score on Rotten Tomatoes.

It is a sign that we can expect more than an ordinary horror movie.
